Carly leads a team optimising global clinical trial protocol design for sustainability at Bayer. With a degree in Applied Genetics and a PhD in Immunology and Epigenetics, Carly has worked in clinical research for over 12 years. She is committed to reducing the negative impact that healthcare has on the environment and increasing healthcare access, to ensure that current and future generations have the opportunity to thrive. Carly holds a number of sustainability advisory roles across a range of sectors, she is an alumni of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA).
