Nicos is a Vendor Qualification expert with over 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, 16+ of which were dedicated to vendor qualifications. Nicos led cross-functional teams of subject matter experts at Schering-Plough, Merck and Regeneron, which qualified a variety of vendors supporting clinical trials, such as CROs, Central Labs, Specialty Labs, IRT, Imaging, Central ECG, Patient Recruitment & Retention and other types of vendors.
Nicos was instrumental in enhancing the Schering-Plough Vendor Qualification process and following the acquisition of the company by Merck, he was a member of the core team which developed the revamped and robust Merck Vendor Qualification process. While at Merck and Regeneron, Nicos contributed to the development of the AQC Provider Qualification Standards and RFIs (questionnaires). He had been a member of the AQC Provider Qualification Leadership Advisory Board (LAB).
Nicos holds an MBA in International Business from Rutgers University and is a Certified Project Manager. Ha also has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
