David Hilfiker is currently the Head of Risk Based Quality Management in Daiichi Sankyo R&D Operations, where he is responsible for designing and sustaining a risk-based approach for clinical trial design and oversight across all phases of clinical development.  He got his career start at the FDA, spending 8 years in various roles in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research.  He has since worked for over 20 years in the industry with 3 different mid-large sized companies, focusing on Regulatory Strategy, Policy and Communications, and R&D Quality and Compliance.  He is based in New Jersey, USA, and enjoys spending time with family and friends, outdoor activities and cooking.  You can find Dave on LinkedIn at www.linkedin.com/in/david-hilfiker.
