Dr. Pittinger is the Research Financial Compliance Officer at Moffitt Cancer Center. She is responsible for overseeing the research financial compliance function of Corporate Compliance. Her team has oversight of protecting the financial integrity of Moffitt and its patients and conducts audits of all activities related to clinical research billing, research finance, and grants management. She has 18+ years of experience in healthcare with 16+ years focused on clinical research operations and compliance. Dr. Pittinger has a doctor of business administration in applied management and an MBA in healthcare administration. Additionally, she holds the following certifications: Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC), Certified Compliance Professional (CCP), Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), and a Certified Healthcare Auditor (CHA). Dr. Pittinger is also a faculty member of Arizona State University Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation where she teaches courses across Clinical Research Management and Regulatory Science Master's Programs.
