Candida Barlow has been a registered nurse for over 20 years. She completed her Ph.D. in Nursing in 2023, with a focus on the knowledge of research conduct, creating the “Nursing research conduct knowledge model.” She is a board-certified clinical research nurse through the American Board of Nursing Specialties. She is the Director of Clinical Research at Oklahoma State University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She also serves as a Clinical Research Consultant, working with clinical research sites nationally and globally. Her successful projects include implementing best practices per state and federal regulations and experience implementing computerized systems in clinical research, electronic compliance, e-regulatory, electronic source, and automated billing compliance programs.
