Kate Trigg, MPH, CCRC, is a Clinical Research Supervisor in Infectious Diseases, Rheumatology, Endocrinology and Nephrology at UC Davis Health. Her work is focused on managing and supporting the clinical research unit within the Divisions she supports, with an aim to foster and establish relationships with sponsors and increase the overall portfolio.
She participates in workgroups, committees and initiatives throughout the institution to improve research infrastructure, research pricing and billing chargemasters, increase workforce capacity and tools to improve the transparency of internal processes and workload complexity. She is passionate about translating competencies and effort into scalable and feasible processes, providing access to expanded access programs, and improving awareness and knowledge about clinical research throughout the institution.
Additionally, she is an IRB Committee Member on the UC Davis Health Administration's Institutional Review Board (IRB), and also serves as a consultant for the World Health Organization's Patient Safety Flagship Initiative.
She is a certified clinical research coordinator and obtained her MPH from University of San Francisco and her undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Arizona State University. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Public Health in Quality & Patient Safety.
