Jessica Thurmond is a Program Director with WCG leading the Integrated Solutions Model across all site services specializing in organizational change management to reduce time to activation while driving strategic growth.   

Over the last 15 years Jessica has spent much of her career in clinical operations and development starting out site side before transitioning into CRO and FSP pharmaceutical work. During the pandemic, Jessica developed the SOPs for the first fully remote study the CRO had conducted and helped facilitate the fastest startup timelines in company history. Prior to her time at WCG, Jessica was founder and CEO of Athelo Health, providing virtual care navigation for women with cancer which has since been acquired by the “Supportive Care Everywhere” program at City of Hope.

Jessica’s attended graduate school at Vanderbilt University as well as continued professional education at Massachusetts’s Institute for Technology in artificial intelligence and business strategy. Her team placed 1st in the PharmaTimes Strategic Competition as Clinical Researcher of the Year in 2018 and she has won numerous awards for her academic research as well as recently serving as a Rock Health Innovation Fellow.
