Ana Causo is Assistant Director, Clinical Trials, in the Office of Research and Sponsored Projects (ORSP) at the University of Michigan. She leads a team that negotiates clinical trial agreements with industry sponsors, federal agencies, and foundations. At MAGI@home 2026, Ana co-presents "Expanded Access & Compassionate Use Agreements," a session on contracting and processing for these requests. Her talk covers the agreements and approvals involved when patients seek access to investigational therapies outside a clinical trial. Attendees will leave with an increased understanding of Expanded Access/Compassionate Use processes.
