Ryan Helber is the founder of Research Minded, a consulting firm that helps clinical research sites, specialty practices, and SMOs build stronger trial pipelines, negotiate sustainable budgets, and collect the revenue they've earned. Throughout his career, Ryan has worked alongside coordinators, investigators, and research leadership to help studies open faster, run more smoothly, and stay financially viable.

His work starts from something he saw again and again: when strong sites struggle with a study, the cause is rarely effort. It is usually misaligned expectations and the financial discipline behind them. 

Ryan advises sites through project-based consulting and fractional strategic advisory partnerships. His work covers trial sourcing, procedure-level budget and startup fee analysis, revenue recovery, enrollment optimization, and operational workflow. He also serves as Chief Strategy Officer at CT SCAN, where he applies the same planning discipline to predictive enrollment.
