I am an aspiring clinical research professional and science writer, military veteran, and entrepreneur with a deep passion for science and career development. With over a decade of experience in diagnostic laboratory operations and preclinical research support, I’ve built my career on a foundation of scientific rigor and innovation. I also have two years of experience in the medical device industry and four years as a business owner, where I refined my leadership and strategic planning skills.
I hold a master’s degree in clinical and translational research from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, which has given me a strong background in study design, data analysis, research ethics, and the regulatory aspects of clinical trials. I have also worked in medical affairs at Becton Dickenson (BD) as a strategic alliance liaison, helping to bridge the gap between medical science and business.
Early in my career, I served in the Army National Guard and completed a combat tour in Afghanistan. This experience helped shape me into someone who thrives under pressure, adapts quickly, and stays mission-focused, which are qualities that have guided me throughout my professional journey. I am also passionate about education and mentorship, which, during the pandemic, led me to found my company, Unlimited Potential Education LLC, then purchased, revitalized and sold a Kumon Math and Reading Center. Currently, I am looking for new opportunities as a Clinical Research Coordinator, Clinical Project Manager, or science writer; roles where I can use my diverse expertise to drive meaningful advancements in science and healthcare.
At MAGI 2025, I am excited to moderate "Don’t Skip a Turn: Opportunities for Growth in the Game of LIFE," a session focused on recognizing opportunities for growth with each challenge life brings. I look forward to supporting the speakers as we help attendees uncover hidden growth opportunities, build confidence, and take control of their careers one step at a time.
