Dr. Amrit Ray is a globally experienced industry executive, physician researcher, and biopharmaceuticals expert known for advancing medical breakthroughs and championing healthcare access for patients. He has over 25 years of healthcare experience, ranging from physician providing patient care to Fortune 100 corporate executive, board chairman, and private equity advisor. Dr. Ray is a full-time, professional Chairman, Director, and Senior Advisor to life sciences companies. He has extensive corporate governance experience at mid- to large-sized global public and private company boards. Previously, he was Global President, Head of R&D, and Executive Leadership Team member at Pfizer Upjohn. He chaired the R&D Investment Committee, was responsible worldwide for all phase I–IV development, regulatory, safety, and medical affairs, led 3,500 professionals in 90 countries, and served as the company’s final decision maker on patient matters.
