Alyssa Gateman has more than 25 years of experience in clinical research administration and quality assurance. She began her career at the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center, where during her 14-year tenure, she served as Director of the Quality Assurance Office for Clinical Trials.

Alyssa joined Yale University in July 2014 as the Associate Director of QA at the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation (YCCI). She joined Yale Cancer Center in 2022 and is currently the Yale Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office’s Executive Director. Additionally, Alyssa is an adjunct professor for Southern Connecticut State University for the course on Clinical Trial Administration and Good Clinical Practice.

Alyssa received her Master of Public Health from Boston University and is a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP). She has served on national committees including a three-year term on the American Association of Cancer Institutes: Clinical Research Initiative’s Steering Committee. She was the President of the Boston Chapter of the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) from 2010-2014, served on the SOCRA Board of Directors and is currently the President of the SOCRA Connecticut Chapter.
