Matt Wood is Sr. Director of Engineering in the Data & Analytics organization at WCG, where he leads the rollout of WCG ClinSphere™, using the power of artificial intelligence to connect sites, sponsors, CROs, and participants in one unified cloud platform. Matt also leads the Site Solutions technology teams, including ClinSphere™ Total Enrollment, Clinical Trial Listing Service (CTLS), and WCG eResearch Enterprise CTMS. With a focus on data governance and data mastering, these key initiatives focus on building a competitive landscape for WCG.

Prior to WCG, Matt was a Principal Technologist at Cigna-Evernorth, designing and implementing high quality software solutions that modernizes IT strategy in an agile environment. Specializing in the Big Data & Cloud engineering space, Matt built out an Enterprise Data Platform through the delivery of various data-centric assets, including a data lake and data warehouse, which unified and refined data across the global organization.
