
Avudaiappan (Audi) Chokkalingam, MS, MBA is a healthcare leader in clinical research operations at Mayo Clinic, where he serves as Manager of Enterprise Research Operations in the Office of Clinical Trials and holds an academic appointment as Instructor in Healthcare Administration. He leads enterprise initiatives focused on improving clinical trial activation, operational efficiency, and research recruitment across multiple Mayo Clinic sites, supporting a portfolio of 350+ clinical trials annually.
With over a decade of experience in academic medical center research environments, Audi has led large multidisciplinary teams and implemented transformative operational models, including rapid activation programs and enterprise trial facilitation strategies. His work focuses on reducing activation timelines, enhancing collaboration across stakeholders, and leveraging data and digital transformation to improve clinical trial delivery.
Prior to his enterprise leadership role, Audi managed transplant clinical research programs and has extensive experience across surgery, transplant, oncology, nephrology, and hepatology trials. He has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented work on clinical trial activation innovation and operational improvement.
Audi holds an MS in Clinical Research from the Medical University of South Carolina and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.
