
Maggie Wallendal, MSW, serves as the Enterprise Director of Clinical Research Administration Pre‑Award at Advocate Health, where she leads enterprise‑wide strategy for research contracting, budget development, and pre‑award operations across one of the nation’s largest integrated health systems. She also supports parallel pre‑award initiatives at Wake Forest University School of Medicine under the Advocate Health National Center for Clinical Trials, bringing a unified and scalable approach to research administration.
With more than a decade of experience in clinical research operations, Maggie previously served as Manager of Clinical Trial Business Services at Advocate Aurora Health, overseeing non‑federal research agreements, CTMS finance/calendar development, and a high‑performing team of 12+ specialists.
Earlier in her career, she contributed to movement‑disorder research at the Parkinson Research Institute, supporting a leading Midwest brain donation program that advances studies in Parkinson’s and related conditions.
Maggie holds a Master of Social Work (Gerontology) from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and brings expertise in clinical research operations, data analysis, and research design.
