Soun Khountham is the founding Senior Director of New Development for Sponsored Clinical Trials & Partnerships at UPMC Enterprises, the innovation, commercialization, and venture capital arm of UPMC. She leads enterprise research strategy, governance, and industry partnerships supporting more than 600 clinical trial activations annually across UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh.

With over 20 years of experience spanning academic health systems, biotech, and industry, Soun focuses on building scalable research infrastructure, strengthening compliance frameworks, and aligning clinical, legal, financial, and innovation stakeholders to accelerate clinical development, real-world data initiatives, and translational impact.
