My career in clinical research started at the ground level, as a study coordinator navigating the chaos of rooms of CRF binders and juggling five different paper logs and excel spreadsheets per study. When our site introduced a new concept called a Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS), I jumped at the chance to lead the implementation. That experience ignited my passion for research technology and operational transformation.

Over the past 25+ years, I’ve led large-scale clinical trials offices within NCI-designated Cancer Centers and across Academic Medical Centers, building infrastructures that drive innovation and strengthen compliance. My expertise spans CTMS implementations, optimizations, and integrations, research billing compliance, clinical trial operations, and business process improvements that accelerate study activation, reduce administrative burdens, and free research teams to focus on what matters most—patients. Today, I’m committed to advancing efficiency through the new generation of technology, like AI and Robotic Process Automation, to connect systems, people, and processes—creating clinical research environments that are smarter, faster, and more patient-centered.
