LaDale leads the Perkins Coie LLP’s Digital Health Regulatory Team.  He concentrates his regulatory and transactional practice on advising both traditional healthcare providers and non-traditional health-related companies, ranging from Fortune Top 10 enterprises to start-ups.  LaDale guides clients engaged in innovative businesses at the intersection of healthcare and technology through the complex and complicated systems of health law and privacy regulations, including FDA-regulated and non-regulated SaMD and AI/ML-driven innovations, US and ex-US regulated health data technologies, and Federal, state, and cross-border regulated telehealth/telemedicine/teletherapy solutions.

In addition, LaDale reserves about 20 percent of his practice time to provide legal services to charitable organizations engaged in the delivery of care to vulnerable communities and national and international disaster relief and reconstruction efforts.  He serves on the board of directors for Insight Hospital & Medical Center, an Illinois safety net hospital, MedGlobal, an international medical relief organization, and for Partnership for a Connected Illinois (PCI), Illinois not-for-profit advancing the impact and use of broadband technology to provide access to healthcare through telehealth.
