Kylie Sands, MBA, CCRP, is the Operations Manager for the Clinical and Rural Health Research Department at St. Lawrence Health in Upstate New York as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor teaching Research Methods for the Physician Assistant program at Clarkson University. She has worked in clinical research for nearly 10 years in both the DC Metro area and New York. She currently serves as Chapter Chair for the New York State Chapter for the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) as well as sits on the Exam writing Committee for SOCRA.

She received her BS in Biology from SUNY Potsdam and an MBA in Healthcare Administration.  Her absolute greatest achievement though, is her 2 amazing sons Gabriel, 5, and Alexander, 12. Alexander was diagnosed over the summer with a rare brain tumor, a craniopharyngioma, and has highlighted what it is like to navigate the healthcare system, chronic illness, and attempt to navigate the clinical trial space as a patient/caregiver to her.
