
Jeanna Julo is the Quality Improvement & Compliance Officer in the Office of Clinical Trial Activation (OCTA) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). In this role, she provides research compliance guidance, plays a key role in continuous quality improvement initiatives, and partners with colleagues to enhance clinical trial activation and amendment processes. She is recognized as a subject matter expert in research compliance. With 15 years of research administration experience in academic medical centers, her areas of expertise include comprehensive training, Good Clinical Practice, federal regulations, compliance and billing, human subjects protections, including IRB processes, and the use of operational data, performance metrics, and clinical trial management systems (CTMS). Jeanna holds degrees in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and maintains CHRC and CCRP certifications.”
