Soraya Byrdsong is a PhD student and graduate teaching assistant at Arkansas State University. There, she studies invasive plants and how they spread. She also studies how education, policy, and genetics can be used to prevent biological invasions. At A-State, Soraya is a TA for Biology of Plants, helping plan lectures and labs and teaching students basic plant biology.
