Description

Sites are increasingly willing to push back on participant payment terms that are too low, too slow, or too burdensome, and sometimes that pushback works. This case-based session follows a negotiation in which site advocacy led a sponsor to revise its participant payment approach. We will examine what the site documented, how it framed the argument around recruitment, retention, and equity, and which internal stakeholders had to be brought along on both sides. The session also covers the risks of saying no and how to manage them. Attendees will leave with a practical model for making the same case at their own organizations.
