Description

Leadership isn’t limited to job titles; it’s the ability to create clarity, build trust, and move work forward in environments where influence matters as much as authority. In this practical session, participants will learn how to “lead up” by understanding what leaders above them need, communicating with concise options (not noise), and building credibility through results. The session blends proven influence concepts with a simple, repeatable framework participants can apply immediately to real workplace situations.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Learn a practical framework to lead up with confidence and credibility, enabling participants to influence decisions, communicate effectively with leaders above them, and align their contributions to organizational priorities, regardless of title.
  2. Define effective influence behaviors (up, across, and through) by using structured conversations that emphasize trust, empathy, options-based thinking, and results to move work forward without relying on formal authority.
