
Nathaniel (Nate) brings over 15 years of experience in clinical research operations, regulatory compliance, and workforce development across academic medical centers and industry-sponsored research. He currently serves as a Clinical Research Compliance, Education, and Training Administrator within the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine’s Office of Clinical Research and as a Course Instructor in Clinical Trials and Translational Science through the Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training (CCTST).
Nathaniel’s work focuses on human research participant protections, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), study start-up, clinical trial operations, and organizational leadership through people-centered communication. He has led institution-wide educational programs, facilitated cross-functional operational improvement committees, and developed policies, procedures, and training initiatives that strengthen research quality, compliance, and participant safety, and has recently implemented new CRP career development opportunities, such as CRP-specific phlebotomy/venipuncture training and standardized institutional onboarding initiatives.
A previous MAGI attendee and now presenter, Nathaniel is passionate about translating complex regulatory and operational requirements into practical, accessible strategies that support Clinical Research Professionals (CRPs), investigators, and research teams. His approach emphasizes collaboration, transparency, and workforce readiness across the clinical research enterprise.
