WCG's Event Environmental Sustainability Policy

WCG is committed to sustainability in the development, execution, and evaluation of our events. By incorporating a structured and consistent approach, we aim to minimize environmental, health, and safety impact, promote social responsibility, demonstrate our commitment to environmental sustainability to stakeholders, clients, employees, and the public, and enhance our reputation as a leader in sustainable and responsible event development.

Our policy applies to all events, regardless of format, organized or sponsored by our company, including conferences, meetings, and/or workshops. The boundary of this policy encompasses all stages of event planning, from concept development to execution and post-event evaluation.

Our sustainable events policy is guided by the following principles:

  • Environmental Stewardship: Reduce, reuse, and recycle resources to minimize waste and conserve natural resources.

  • Social Responsibility: Engage with and support local communities, promote accessibility, and ensure inclusive participation.

  • Economic Viability: Implement cost-effective practices that do not compromise the quality or success of our events.

WCG recognizes the impact that events can have on the environment and within the communities in which we operate. We are committed to planning and hosting events that not only exceed customer expectations but also reflect our deep commitment to sustainability, inclusivity, and social responsibility. Our policy outlines these commitments and provides a framework for reducing the environmental impact of our events, promoting inclusivity and accessibility, and ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all participants.
